Boston Celtics: Still Marvelous

The drama and angst continues with the Celtics...they lost last night's game 87 to 81. As the game was billed as a homecoming not only for the Los Angeles Lakers but Paul Pierce's as well. I guess P-squared missed the memo in his locker because he shot a dismal 2 for 14 from the field and zero for 4 from 3-point land. Kevin Garnett shot 6 for 21 from the field and 1 for 2 from the free throw line. The only player that showed up to play was Ray Ray a/k/a/ Ray Allen, shooting 8 for 13 from the field and 5 for 7 from three point land for a total of 25 points in 41 minutes of play.

Even though the Lakers fans were shouting "Boston Sucks" as loud and as frequently as they possibly could.......the Boston Celtics are still, as Billy Crystal would say, "Marvelous.....simply marvelous"!

George Bush on the other hand, not so marvelous. Especially with a Presidential rating so low he should attend his next meeting dressed as the following. It just might help.
