Massachusetts Sports Teams

If you live in Massachusetts and are into sports, even just a little bit, you have some extra pep in your step and your swagger is in full-effect mode.

The New England Patriots went 16-0 for the regular season and head into the playoffs with alot of time to prepare for their next opponent- either the Steelers, Jags or Titans- taking place on January 12th.

The Boston Celtics are 28 and 3 and faced a tough Memphis Grizzlies last night at the TD Banknorth Garden, beating them 100 to 96.

The Celtics face the Pistons tonight in D-Town and I hope Ray Allen breaks out of his slump and scores more than 2 points, similarly to last night.

Kevin Garnett (23 points), Paul Pierce (23 points & 10 rebounds) and Tony Allen (20 points) held it down and filled the gap left by Ray Allen, who's been averaging 18 points for the season.

Now, for the Red Sox that won the World Series in 2007, it was tough not watching my Yankees in the BIG game, but I must say that 2007 was not their year. The 2007 season was all about the Red Sox and they played their asses off. I actually stayed up watching the games and awoke the next day to be greeted by a number of blurry-eyed Sox fans at my daughter's school.

So, if you happen to meet a person who's wearing one of Massachusetts's sports team gear...give them a thumbs up and a head-nod. It's ALL Good!
