Worcester News: Protesting 2K8 Style


Well, what do you do on Valentine's Day when you feel people are showing all of God's creatures love? You call for folks to boycott KFC for it's poor treatment of chickens.

Andrew R. Wilson and Allison Vasallo, 22 and 21 respectively, both students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, were arrested on Thursday afternoon for disorderly conduct and defacing state property.

The two hung an 18-foot-long by 4-foot-high banner on the Belmont Street overpass fence that read,“Have a Heart, Boycott KFC.”

We're sure the charges will be dropped, but it was still a good attempt and making folks aware of the foul treatment of fouls (yes, the pun was intended.).
