Massachusetts teen wins sneaker design competition

A prodigal son from Massachusetts is the co-winner of the Nike Future Sole sneaker design competition. His name is Ben Adams-Keane, age 15, from Arlington and to say that he
has a fetish for sneakers would be an understatement.

You see, Ben loves to draw sneakers and so much so, that he entered the Nike Future Sole Sneaker Design Competition and it was announced today that he joins co-winner Juan Pozo from Florida.

After culling through over 140 entries, the folks at Nike selected Ben's LeBron James inspired sneaker as one of the final entries.

Ben was flown to Nike's headquarters in Beaverton (a suburb of Portland Oregon) where he was paired with a Nike Jordan Brand designer Justin Taylor to design a new sneaker, the Air Force Adapt.

More information will be forthcoming about Ben, his sneaker designs and what it was like being selected as a co-winner.
