Dick Cheney: Yeah, we did it!

Vice President, Dick Cheney, came out and stated very clearly that he was in support of Waterboarding detainees in Guantanamo Bay until the "war on terror" ends.

Cheney in a nutshell said, "Yeah, we did it! So what?" (Talk about being a gangsta, in today's sense?)

It's about time for Cheney to admit that he was aware that Waterboarding was used on Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the supposed mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.

Beyond admitting that he was aware of the torture tactics, it's been reported that detainees were subjected to listening to music by Dr. Dre, Eminem, Nine Inch Nails and Metallica.

Earlier this week, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that soldiers were given permission to use "yelling, loud music, light control: used to create fear, disorient detainee and prolong capture shock." Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, who served as U.S. military commander in Iraq, authorized the torture technique in September of 2003.

Binyam Mohammed who was held at the "Dark Prison" in Kabul, Afghanistan says U.S. forces bombarded him with repeated listens of Dr. Dre, Eminem, Nine Inch Nails and Metallica, which left inmates screaming and smashing their heads against prison cell walls.

"There was loud music, [Eminem's] 'Slim Shady' [click to read] and Dr. Dre for 20 days. I heard this nonstop over and over," says Mohammed. "The CIA worked on people, including me, day and night for the months before I left. Plenty lost their minds."

Imagine that? Hearing Dr. Dre's Keep Their Heads Ringing for 20 days? Or Eminem's My Name Is over and over? As much as I like Dr. Dre and Eminem, I'd start banging my head against a wall.

It comes as no surprise that many in the music industry are protesting the use of their music while there are some folks that are not so sympathetic to the alleged terrorists. "I hope they continue to play Dr. Dre's music and Metallica's music, if it means that the terrorist come clean about the cells that are plotting the next round of attacks," said Bubb Rubb of Oakland, CA. "Them fools need to play Busta Rhyme's Arab Money and keep that joint on repeat," he continued.

More information to come from none other than Bubb Rubb!
