Moratorium On Selfishness Walk

I had an opportunity to speak briefly with Jovan Roseboro this afternoon because of my friend Robert Moore, Jr. who found out about Jovan through a friend in Colorado and decided to join Jovan on his walk to Washington, D.C..

Again, our conversation was brief, but in the few minutes that I was able to speak with Jovan, I was able to quickly realize that he is a "Change Agent" and someone whose past is just that, in the past.

Jovan decided to walk--"Moratorium On Selfishness Walk"-- from North Carolina to Washington, D.C. to push for Americans to think about how WE are all connected and that we can't rely solely on the Government for the answers.

Coming from the Caribbean and a tightly-knit community, I understand the "village" mentality and it's just that which Jovan Roseboro is encouraging us to embrace.....one another.
