Hispanic/ Latinos of Central MA (HLCM): Rally Tuesday 05/18/2010

The HLCM is sponsoring a rally in Worcester at City Hall on Tuesday. This should be very interesting!

This coming Tuesday (18 May 2010) at 6:00 pm there will be a Community Rally at the front steps of Worcester City Hall. For too long, communities of color have been invisible to local Government. Our grievances have been casually pushed aside. And, we have been told to come back when there is a "GROUND SWELL". As the trend toward scapegoating communities of color continues in parts of our great country, the need to let your Local Representatives know that we are HERE and WE WILL NOT BE MADE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS, has never been more important. We urge you to attend and voice your opinion.
