AT&T: Thank You

It took them over 5-years for AT&T to get IT, but they finally stepped
up and offered iPhone users MMS.

For those that don't have an iPhone and have had MMS service you know
how useful it is when you're in a store, looking at a piece of
furniture, and need to send a picture to your significant other, who's
at home, but wants to see the piece. (Come on, you're telling me
you've never used MMS for that? Be honest.)

Mirrored View

We know driving in Massachusetts takes a certain mindset, and driving
in Worcester takes not only a mindset, but a few Hail Mary's and The
Lord's Prayer to get through the City.

I truly believe when some folks were learning to drive, they were
never taught "the rules of the road" and "who has the right of way".
I've almost been run into at least twice today and I saw 2 near misses
of people walking in crosswalks almost get clipped.

Folks please slow down, show a little patience and pay attention to
the road and not the cell-phone or who may be looking at you! Thank
you.

Signs & Words

When I see a unique sign, I often take a picture of it. Well, such was
the case when I read this sign, at Nancy Chang's, near the restrooms.

Wise words to live by, right?

Boston cars causing polar caps to melt

During last night's speech to some of the world's most influential
leaders, President Obama stated, and I'm paraphrasing here,"Cars in
Boston and factories in China are causing the polar caps to melt at an
aggressive rate." What? OK, has President Obama been drinking from the
same bubblah that Gore placed his lips on? It sure seems so.

President Clinton on President Obama & Health Care Reform

Having heard what President Carter said about race affecting how folks view President Obama's proposed Health Care Reform, now we have President Clinton joining the conversation and he does make some valid points.

Does race play a role in the reaction that many have to President Obama's proposed Health Care Reform? I say that it does, to a small extent, but the bigger issue is the fact that there are many that oppose President Obama's Health Care Reform plan, but haven't taken the time to read the first 200 words or the CliffsNotes version to understand the program.

Ignorance is not bliss.

Philly: The Officer & The Hairdo

The story about a white police officer in Philadelphia, PA is very perplexing, especially in light of having seen a number of Philly's Finest wearing cornrows.

I wonder if there's a strict hair and "professional appearance" policy for the Worcester Police Department?

Sports: New England Patriots

He is viewed as a phenomenal athlete and some may say that he was a
God-send when Drew Bledsoe(remember him?) went down with a rib injury,
but today Tom Brady looked beaten.

The New England Patriots are playing the NY Jets in the Meadowlands in
New Jersey and for all the talking that the Jets did, they backed it
up with their play.

Mark Sanchez, the Jets' rookie quarterback, looked nervous and out of
synch in the first quarter, but then seemed to call upon his USC
playing experience and came out firing, and moving the ball.

So, the soon-to-be-daddy for the second time, Brady, has to go back to
the drawing board, and assess how they're going to right their ship.

In the meantime, it appears that Coach Bill will have to find some
players that want to win and 'Go Hard'.
