Remembering Malcolm X

It will have been 45-years tomorrow that Malcolm X was murdered.

While I know not specifically what he risked, he risked his life and
his family's life to bring people together.

He planted the seeds for us to flourish today.

Kenneth Starr: A blast from the past

Whenever I hear of Waco, TX, images of the burning ranch that was known as the Branch Davidian ranch pop in my head.

Some may remember Ken Starr for the being the lead prosecutor for the Whitewater land deal and the President Bill Clinton affair with White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. President Clinton pulled a Teflon Don and was impeached, but was not convicted.

Let's just hope that this one turns out to be a dud, too.

Valentine's Day: Not my cup of TEA

Since Valentine's Day is not my cup of tea, and I can care less about it, here's something funny that my sneaker lovers will appreciate. (Don't get me wrong, I love LOVE and have no problem expressing it, but I have always disliked Valentine's Day. I think folks make a big deal of the day, and I believe in showing love everyday and NOT specifically on one day.)
