Sarah's Run

Word is since the Presidential election loss, Sarah Palin has gotten
back to her routine of running.

Since there are alot of folks who are trying to pin the "L" on Palin,
to which there is an online petition, started by Erick Erickson of
redstate.com aptly titled "Operation Leper", Palin has been spotted
running the streets of Wasilla, Alaska.

Check out Palin getting her RNC-sponsored sneaker shopping spree in
New Hampshire.

The Pain & The Cure

With the economy continuing to head south faster than a pole dancer at one of the many gentleman's clubs in Worcester, the price of gasoline continues to go down to a rabble-rousing round of applause.

In times like these we have to find solace where we can get it and nowadays, that solace is scarce.

Senators in Washington, D.C. continue to grill the automotive industry execs and ask why folks like Joe-the-plumber should have to bail the industry out.

Obama chose Eric Holder to be the Attorney General and, once he makes it through the vetting process, he would be the first Black man to head the Department of Justice.

Folks in Loveland, Colorado have decided to pay it forward and spread a little joy to customers that love coffee.

And last, but not least, we look to the holidays to be a time where people slow down a little, get together with friends and relatives, break break and give thanks for what they have.

And here's a Christmas message from the President and the First Family:

Marc Ecko

I like this honest video featuring Marc Ecko, a positive innovator (PI) who many folks try to knock, but can't, because of his drive and unwillingness to quit. The interview was conducted by Jeff Staple, another PI and design titan, whose work I've been following for the past 5 years. The interview is for URB Magazine's "1-2-1 with jeffstaple".

Black Friday

Now that the Presidential election is over and the Obama/ Biden team have been elected, I've been in somewhat of a rut, now having to deal with the lack of back-handed b*tch slapping that I had been subjected to for the past 8 months.

Some folks, particularly Blacks and Hispanics, have an extra bop in their step and I even witnessed a White gentleman, probably in his late 50s, give the universal 'Black Power'--clinched fist held in the sky and head bowed-- to a Black gentleman dressed in Army fatigues near City Hall.

Black Friday, the day after the Thanksgiving, is the day where many retailers hope to sell their way out of the red. This year, the landscape is very different and from a recent trip to the Wrentham Premium Outlets, one would not think that we're in the midst of a recession.

As many folks plan their attack on what stores they're going hit up, here is a little gift that should make that planned attack that much better.
