Weather: Part 1

With the winter wonderland in full effect, we've been fortunate to not
have any trees knock out any power lines. We did have a tree fall in
our back yard that took out a small portion of our fence.

I've heard from a few friends who are without electricity due to down
power lines. We hope National Gtid is able to get those without power
back up and running. You can only go "off the grid" for so long.

The Power Of Money

When I heard about the tragic news about Jdimytai Damour, the 34-year-
old man that was trampled to death while working at Wal-Mart in Long
Island on Black Friday, it confirmed that some people are greedy and
don't care about others, something that I already knew but this
confirmed it.

What's more perplexing is that even after hearing Mr. Damour was
trampled, some shoppers complained that they had to leave the store
while the local police department investigated what took place.

Just think about the employees who knew Mr. Damour and worked with
him. Within a few hours the store was reopened because Wal-Mart had to
get that cheddar.

The entire incident tells me that we've lost our focus as to what is
important and how Americans buy shit we don't need.
