People of Wal-Mart

With the Wal-Mart being constructed in Worcester near the Interstate 146 South area, I suspect we'll have an opportunity to see some of Central Massachusetts' finest when the store opens.

A popular blog that's been gaining steaming while poking fun at the many people that shop at Wal-Mart is the People of Walmart.

The blog features pictures of "sightings" in Wal-Mart stores or parking lots from all over the USA. Some of downright side splitting and the folks that run the blog have a beauty on their hands.

Happy Friday and enjoy a good laugh!

Spring: Socializing in the WoO

Now that Spring is here, it's time for me to plan a few parties and
the first of which will be a party that will together the bloggers &
sneaker aficionados. Why bloggers & sneaker aficionados do you ask?
Well, for one I am both of these and secondly, there are not that many
get togethers that combine these often bipolar types of folks.

So, what if you're a Blogger but still call sneakers "rubbers", as my
mother refers to them, when these days they're often called 'kicks',
'dogs', 'sleds' and in Europe 'trainers'. Well, I know that as a
writer and reporter, Bloggers are always up for learning new things
and this party will do just that.

So, continue to check out Worcester Is MAJOR! and the time and place
of the P-A-R-T-Y will be published very soon!

Miss Konnie: Watch It!

When I read the post on Daily Worcesteria that Mayor Lukes doesn’t read the blogs because, “they aren’t worth paying attention to.” Well, it doesn’t surprise me one bit that Miss Konnie doesn’t feel the blogs are worth paying attention to because all that she wants to do is go on WCCA and pontificate on her “Soap Box”.

Mayor Lukes, please read this post or someone tell her about it because it is my way of saying since you won’t read the many great blogs that exist in the city, you will hear about how we go in and bring the news that you won’t find in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette or even Jordan Levy’s talk show.

The New Media in the new millennium have been blogs and videos and I will be the first to show you how it should be done.

I actually encourage all the Worcester County bloggers to step their game up on the political front and show Miss Konnie how much influence we do have, and, particularly, how much impact we have in the electoral voting arena.

Oh, baby! It’s ON!!

Rushton blogging from Denver

Look at who has entered the arena and decided to test his writing skills and quick wit at blogging about his experience at the Democratic National Convention.

Peep it:

Rick Rushton's Weblog

A word of advice Rick, don't call your blog a "Weblog"....you're dating yourself and telling the world you're a neophyte to the blogging world.
