Last Honest Man (Wormtown Fleet)

As a MAJOR hat-tip to the late, and never duplicated, Jeff Barnard, of Wormtown Taxi (http://wormtowntaxi.com), I present to you the "Last Honest Man".
The Last Honest Man makes no qualms about it. I've seen him with a sign that read,"Why lie? I need money for beer!", and "I need to get high!".
I can never knock someone's hustle, and when they're honest I appreciate that immensely. You know where they're coming from and what they plan to do.

Wormtown Fleet Launch

A number of Worcester bloggers and, all-around GREAT people(I haven't had an opportunity to meet many of them yet), have formed like Voltron in support of fellow blogger-- Jeff Barnard of WormtownTaxi.com.

Jeff has been blogging about his health issues and while I'll leave it to him to give you the details, I can't wrap my mind around what he's going through and the range of emotions that he may experience on a day-to-day basis.
Today we announce the launch of The Wormtown Fleet. You can read more about TWF here: http://fb.me/ET76sJjl

Be on the lookout for more posts and updates, and hopefully, by the grace of God, Jeff experiences a miracle because he truly is a Positive Innovator.

Eggo:Optimistically Optimistic Food

I remember seeing the signs in Price Chopper grocery stores and at Stop & Shop, but paid little attention to them. Then, while making a grocery store run (which I truly dislike doing. I'd rather shovel shit than grocery shop.) my daughter asked to buy some Eggo waffles and there were none to be found.

Shortly thereafter, I read Jeff Barnard's post on Wormtowntaxi.com about the shortage and the subsequent search that ensued.

Well, yesterday while make that "dreadful" grocery store run, again, my daughter asked me to buy some Eggo waffles and I said to her, "I might have better luck rolling a 7 or 11 at craps than finding some Eggo waffles." To my surprise we ventured over to the frozen food section and what do you know? We found her favorite, and my favorite, Eggo waffles!

Next time, I'm going to be more optimistic and after unpacking the groceries, I'll pile the family into the car and head South on 395 and make my way to Mohegan Sun.

Now, if only we can get Governor Patrick and the other "slackers" to approve casinos in Massachusetts? (Remaining optimistic, but not holding my breath.)
